Humid circumstances were forecast to persist along large portions of eastern Queensland this coming days as a low-pressure trough continued to attract humidity against the coastal areas.
The following day was forecast to be the wettest day, with continued severe weather risk anticipated across different parts of both regions.

Medical authorities warned that there was an increased chance of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the countryside regions, especially given the current weather patterns.
